Pasty Shaw is a watercolor and linocut artist residing in Glenside, PA. Although she has spent the last few years living in Montgomery County, Patsy grew up in Manila, Philippines where she spent her entire childhood. Patsy came to the United States to earn a degree from the Pennsylvania State University, and while attending Penn State she put down the tennis racket of her youth and picked up the paintbrush for the first time. She enjoys watercolor, linoleum block printing, and gouache among other media, and on any given day you can find her experimenting with a medium that is brand new to her.
While musicians play music for worship, Patsy paints and carves as an act of worship towards God. It is her hope to glorify and make much of Jesus through her work.
You can follow along with her art adventures on her Instagram @shawmuchart, where she posts daily about the projects she is working on.
